Had a great Christmas! Hope everybody else did to. I love this time of year! I'm so glad that I was able to be with my family knowing this will be my last Christmas with them in awhile. I will be spending Christmas with Ben next year and I look forward to it! My parents said that if we are close enough they will come down and see us. I hope they do!

Matthew 1:18- 25, ESV "Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered these things, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, but knew her not until she had given birth to a son,. And he called his name Jesus."

Pics of my amazing Fedora Hat

My awesomily, amazily purple purse. As you can see my favorite color is purple. This was on sale at Wal Mart so I bought it and plus I needed a new purse anyways so it paid off.
This is my fedora hat. It looks like my husband except mine is purple and his is all black. I look forward to when he comes home and we have matching hats!
me modeling.
I know these pics are late but I haven't had time to blog in awhile because of my busy schedule.

Ashley MEPS/ Sworn in

I love being an American! This flag represents everything that America stands for. I wanted to take a picture of the flag because I'm so proud to be an American and so proud that my sister is going in the Marines!
This is the Oath that everyone had to say. Just thought that it was neat on the wall so I took a picture of it.

My little sister is ready for boot camp. Good luck Ashley. I know you can do it!

Ashley saying her oath.

At MEPS. My oldest brother always had to be a goof.
I'm going to forever treasure this moment! See you in 13 weeks Ashley!

MEPS brought back so many memories of when my husband left for Air Force Basic Training. He's been in the Air Force for about a year now and how time flies. I remember sitting in the exact same room. It was such an emotional day but I kept strong. After I saw Ashley get on the bus, I cried my eyes out but I'm so proud of her! I'm also proud of my husband to! They are my heroes! I look forward to seeing Ashley in 13 weeks!

Last dinner with Ashley

Outside in the parking lot at the Sheraton Hotel where Ashley is staying at and will leave from there to go to MEPS where she will go to boot camp. I'm glad that its finally snowing and not melting.

Dirty Santa. My mom got some sauce on her shirt and I thought it was funny so I took a picture of it. My mom called him dirty Santa so that's where the name came from.
Pepperoni! Yum!
Mom, Dad and I having a fun time.
Dad and I.
Ashley and Austin. Ashley recruited Austin and so now he's in the Marines to! He leaves for boot camp January 10th. We are so proud of Austin And Ashley!
My little sister and I. Gosh how we have grown. I can't believe that we are adults now. Time has flown by. I'm going to miss my sister but I know I will see her in 13 weeks.

Best pizza in town. Our waitress wasn't friendly at all. She just seemed like she was snobby but nonetheless had a great time with Ashley.

Happy December!

I'm so looking forward to snow, Christmas, being with my family, ringing in the holiday cheer. I love this time of year. When I see snow on the ground, and on the trees I imagined Christmas, singing Christmas songs, opening up presents, remember Jesus and his birth, drinking some apple cider. There is so much to be thankful for and so much to celebrate this time of year! I so look forward to many holidays with my husband! :)
